Occupational Therapist - Pediatrics

Job DescriptionPosition Overview

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Occupational Therapist - Pediatrics to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children facing developmental challenges and will be committed to providing high-quality therapy to promote their development and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of children’s occupational therapy needs.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on the evaluation results.
• Utilize therapeutic techniques, activities, and equipment to promote children’s skills.
• Work collaboratively with families, teachers, and other professionals to support the child's development.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records and progress notes.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions, focusing on social skills, sensory integration, and motor skills.
• Monitor and update treatment plans as necessary to ensure that goals are being met.
• Participate in training and workshops to further professional development and stay updated on best practices.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid professional license to practice occupational therapy in Dubai.
• Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy interventions and techniques.

Desired Experience

• Minimum 2 years and maximum 10 years of experience working with children with special needs.
• Experience in a multi-disciplinary setting is preferred.
• Prior experience in an intervention & therapy centre is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per month

License/Certification:

• Occupational therapy License in Dubai (Preferred)
