Odoo Technical Consultant

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and customize Odoo modules based on requirements
  • Assist in Odoo ERP implementation (Sales, Inventory, HR, Accounting, etc.)
  • Create basic workflows, reports, and dashboards (XML/QWeb)
  • Integrate Odoo with third-party systems using APIs
  • Perform basic database operations (PostgreSQL)
  • Troubleshoot issues and fix bugs
  • Support deployments, upgrades, and version updates
  • Collaborate with functional consultants for requirement understanding
  • Maintain code documentation and follow best practices

Required Skills

  • Basic to strong knowledge of Python & Odoo framework
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL, XML, QWeb, JavaScript
  • Understanding of Linux environment / Odoo.sh
  • Basic API integration (REST)
  • Problem-solving and debugging skills
  • knowledge about ERP Next is plus

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to Odoo module development or customization projects
  • Basic knowledge of Git/version control
  • Understanding of ERP workflows
  • Odoo certification (plus point)

Experience Requirement

  • 2–3 years of experience as an Odoo technical consultant
