Responsibilities and Duties:

Product Strategy and Vision:

· Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy for each IT product in alignment with the overall business objectives.

· Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and threats in the IT product landscape.

· Define product roadmaps and prioritize feature development based on customer needs, market trends, and business goals.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

· Lead and mentor cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, designers, and marketers to deliver high-quality IT products.

· Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture that encourages creativity, continuous learning, and excellence in execution.

· Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as sales, marketing, and customer support to ensure alignment and support for product initiatives.

Product Development and Execution:

· Drive the end-to-end product development lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.

· Work closely with engineering teams to translate product requirements into technical specifications and oversee the development process.

· Monitor product performance metrics, gather user feedback, and iterate on product features to improve usability, functionality, and customer satisfaction.

Strategic Planning and Business Development:

· Collaborate with senior management to align product strategies with overall business objectives and long-term growth plans.

· Identify new market opportunities, potential partnerships, and strategic initiatives to expand the reach and impact of our IT products.

· Evaluate business cases, ROI, and investment decisions related to new product development or enhancements.

Risk Management and Compliance:

· Assess and mitigate risks associated with IT product development, deployment, and maintenance.

· Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices in the IT domain.

· Proactively address security, privacy, and data protection concerns to maintain trust and integrity in our products.

P & L Monitoring and Ownership:

· Collaborate with senior management to understand the financial implications of project related decisions. Develop and implement cost-effective solutions ensuring optimal utilization of resources while minimizing expenses.

· Monitor project related expenses, including hardware and software purchases, maintenance contracts, and service agreements, to ensure they align with budgetary constraints.

· Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements within the project, making recommendations for process enhancements or technology investments as appropriate.

· Take ownership of projects and initiatives aimed at improving the organization's profitability through the effective utilization of resources.

· Provide regular updates and reports on expenditures and cost-saving initiatives to relevant stakeholders, demonstrating accountability and transparency in financial management.

· Participate in strategic planning sessions to align initiatives with the company's overall goals and objectives, with a focus on driving profitability and maximizing return on investment.

· Actively seek opportunities to optimize revenue generation through the implementation of technology-driven solutions or enhancements.

· Foster a culture of financial responsibility and accountability within the department, encouraging team members to prioritize cost-conscious decision-making and resource allocation.

· Continuously evaluate the financial impact of projects and initiatives, adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure alignment with profitability targets and organizational priorities.

Qualifications & Experience:

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.

· Proven experience (8-10 years) in IT product management or related roles, with a successful track record of delivering complex software products to market. Certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Project Management Professional (PMP) are desirable.

Skills & Competencies:

· Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams towards common goals.

· Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

· Deep understanding of technology trends, industry standards, and best practices in IT product development, including Agile methodologies.

· Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market dynamics, identify opportunities, and make data-driven decisions to drive business growth.

· Able to manage multiple products simultaneously and balancing competing priorities effectively.

· Good knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance considerations relevant to IT products.
