Odoo Techno- Consultan/Functional Developer

Job Title: Odoo Functional Consultant1.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into Odoo solutions
• Configure Odoo modules such as Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, HR, etc.
• Conduct gap analysis between business needs and Odoo capabilities
• Prepare functional specifications for technical team (developers)
• Coordinate with stakeholders for implementation and customization
• Perform system testing (UAT) and ensure smooth deployment
• Provide user training and documentation
• Support post-implementation issues and system improvements

2. Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, Accounting, or related field
• 2–5 years experience in ERP systems (preferably Odoo)
• Strong understanding of business processes (finance, supply chain, HR)
• Experience in Odoo implementation or support projects

3. Functional Skills

• Knowledge of Odoo standard modules:
• Sales & CRM
• Inventory & Purchase
• Accounting & Invoicing
• HR & Payroll
• Business process mapping and workflow design
• Requirement gathering and documentation
• Testing and validation (UAT support)

4. Technical Awareness (Not mandatory but preferred)

• Basic understanding of Odoo architecture
• Familiarity with:
• XML views
• Python (basic level)
• Odoo Studio customization
• Ability to communicate with developers effectively

5. Soft Skills

• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Problem-solving and analytical thinking
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Client handling and stakeholder management
• Attention to detail

6. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Successful project delivery within timeline
• User satisfaction and system adoption rate
• Accuracy of requirement documentation
• Reduction in process gaps/issues
• Quality of training and support provided

7. Preferred Experience

• Experience in Odoo versions (v14–v17 or latest)
• Industry exposure (real estate, retail, manufacturing, etc.)
• Experience in data migration and system integration

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR1.00 per month
