IT Manager- Odoo Expert

IT Manager (Odoo Expert) –

Job Criteria

Position: IT Manager – Odoo ERP
Department: Information Technology

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the company's IT operations, infrastructure, systems, and ERP applications.
  • Administer, maintain, and optimize the Odoo ERP system across all business functions.
  • Analyze business requirements and implement Odoo modules and process improvements.
  • Coordinate Odoo customization, integration, upgrades, and troubleshooting with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Ensure data security, system availability, backup, and disaster recovery procedures are in place.
  • Manage IT projects, system implementations, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Monitor network, server, cloud services, and cybersecurity measures.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users on Odoo and other business applications.
  • Develop IT policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare and manage IT budgets, software licensing, and vendor relationships.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in IT management, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in Odoo ERP.
  • Strong knowledge of Odoo functional and technical modules (HR, Payroll, Accounting, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, CRM, Projects, etc.).
  • Experience in Odoo implementation, customization, workflow automation, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of Python, PostgreSQL, API integrations, and Odoo development is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of networking, servers, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and database management.
  • Experience managing IT teams and coordinating with third-party vendors.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Odoo Certification is an advantage.
  • Experience in facilities management, hospitality, retail, or service industries.
  • Knowledge of Power BI, business intelligence tools, and system integrations.
  • PMP, ITIL, or related certifications are an added advantage.

Pay: QAR15,000.00 - QAR17,000.00 per month
