IT Manager (Odoo Expert) –
Job Criteria
Position: IT Manager – Odoo ERP
Department: Information Technology
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the company's IT operations, infrastructure, systems, and ERP applications.
- Administer, maintain, and optimize the Odoo ERP system across all business functions.
- Analyze business requirements and implement Odoo modules and process improvements.
- Coordinate Odoo customization, integration, upgrades, and troubleshooting with internal teams and external vendors.
- Ensure data security, system availability, backup, and disaster recovery procedures are in place.
- Manage IT projects, system implementations, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Monitor network, server, cloud services, and cybersecurity measures.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users on Odoo and other business applications.
- Develop IT policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
- Prepare and manage IT budgets, software licensing, and vendor relationships.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in IT management, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in Odoo ERP.
- Strong knowledge of Odoo functional and technical modules (HR, Payroll, Accounting, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, CRM, Projects, etc.).
- Experience in Odoo implementation, customization, workflow automation, and reporting.
- Knowledge of Python, PostgreSQL, API integrations, and Odoo development is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of networking, servers, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and database management.
- Experience managing IT teams and coordinating with third-party vendors.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Odoo Certification is an advantage.
- Experience in facilities management, hospitality, retail, or service industries.
- Knowledge of Power BI, business intelligence tools, and system integrations.
- PMP, ITIL, or related certifications are an added advantage.
