About the Role

We’re a locally owned automotive repair shop looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Office Administrative Assistant to support daily operations.

This is a hands-on, front-facing role working directly with customers, technicians, and management. We’re looking for someone who can keep things organized, communicate clearly, and help ensure the shop runs smoothly day-to-day.

You’ll also have the opportunity to learn and grow into additional responsibilities over time, including service writing and marketing support.

What You’ll Be Doing

Front Office & Customer Support

  • Greet customers and assist with check-in/check-out
  • Answer phones and schedule appointments
  • Take payments and manage the daily till (open/close)
  • Maintain a clean, welcoming lobby area

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Assist with paying invoices
  • Support management with daily tasks and shop coordination
  • Communicate with technicians and service advisors as needed
  • Help keep workflow organized and on track

Marketing & Communication

  • Assist with social media posting and updates (Facebook & Google)
  • Help maintain accurate and up-to-date business listings
  • Support basic marketing efforts across multiple shop locations

Growth Opportunity

  • Cross-train in service writing (checking in vehicles, building estimates, customer communication)
  • Gain exposure to shop operations and customer service in the automotive industry

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor
  • Organized and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced computer skills and willingness to learn new systems
  • Administrative or office experience required
  • Important: You must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, as test driving vehicles may be part of the role.

Preferred (Not Required):

  • Automotive industry experience
  • Sales or service writing experience
  • Experience with social media marketing (Facebook/Google)

What We Offer

  • $19–$21/hour depending on experience
  • Monday–Friday schedule (no weekends)
