About Us:
Tri County Refrigeration is a growing HVAC service company based in Owego, NY. We’re a small, dedicated team that values reliability, flexibility, and hard work. Our office works closely with field technicians both in Owego and in our Albany location, so the environment can be fast-paced and lively.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and organized Office Assistant to support our daily operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of tasks and is comfortable taking on a wide range of responsibilities in a small business setting.

We are especially looking for someone who is interested in building a long-term career and growing with our company.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Accounts Payable processing
  • Creating customer proposals
  • Answering phones and greeting visitors (reception duties)
  • Filing, organizing documents, and handling mailings
  • Assisting the Office Manager with daily tasks
  • Receiving parts and deliveries
  • Tracking employee safety trainings and certifications
  • General administrative support as needed and cross-training

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Reliable and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable working in a blue-collar environment with a casual, boisterous atmosphere
  • QuickBooks and/or BuildOps experience preferred but not required
