Coast Restaurant Group is a local restaurant group with three brands, Clearwater, Barge Inn Tavern, and Rise. We are looking for a detail‑oriented, highly reliable Corp Office Administrative Assistant to support our back‑office operations.
This part‑time role (approx. 15–20 hours/week) is based in our Newport office and focuses on:
- Keeping employee files accurate and up to date
- Supporting payroll processing and verification
- Acting as a general administrative assistant for projects, copying, research, and other tasks
- We also use AI tools to improve efficiency in day-to-day work. You don’t need prior experience, but you should be comfortable learning and using new tools
We’re also very focused on culture and vibe. You’ll be working closely with a small, fast‑moving team, so we need someone who:

You’ll work closely with our leadership and accounting team but will spend a lot of time working independently, owning your tasks from start to finish.

- Prior experience in any of the following is a plus (but not required):
- Office administration
- Bookkeeping or payroll support
- Restaurant/hospitality operations

Physical & Practical Requirements
- Able to lift 50lbs on occasion
- Comfortable with bending, filing, and climbing stairs (our locations, storage and offices involve stairs)
- Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable vehicle for local errands
Schedule & Hours
- Approximately 15–20 hours per week
- Core hours likely weekdays, late morning to early afternoon (e.g., around 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.), with:
- Slightly earlier/later days as needed during payroll weeks
- Exact schedule to be confirmed based on business needs and candidate availability
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
