OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

Summary

The Office Administrator is responsible for overseeing daily office operations while providing basic bookkeeping and administrative support. This role ensures the office runs efficiently, financial records are accurately maintained, and customers, employees, and managers receive timely assistance.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day office operations, including supplies, vendors, mail, and general office organization.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees, customers, and managers.
  • Perform basic bookkeeping functions.
  • Deposit checks using the check scanning system.
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and documentation as needed.
  • Maintain records, both electronic and paper, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Support team with administrative tasks as needed.

  • Working knowledge of basic bookkeeping principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.


Education and/or Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED, and 2+ years of experience in an office administrator role, customer service role or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Travel Requirements: Occasionally travel within 30 miles of the office.
