What You’ll Do
Accounting & Payroll
- Process payroll accurately and on time
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Enter and reconcile financial data in QuickBooks
- Prepare basic financial reports and assist with job costing
Construction Project Support
- Serve as the administrative lead for Buildertrend
- Enter change orders, purchase orders, schedules, and project updates
- Maintain permits, contracts, insurance certificates, and subcontractor paperwork
- Support project managers with administrative project needs
Office Administration
- Maintain well-organized digital and physical file systems
- Manage office supplies, subscriptions, equipment, and vendor accounts
- Create and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Assist with scheduling, internal communication, and new hire onboarding
Leadership Support
- Prepare documents, manage data entry, and track outstanding items
- Create simple dashboards, spreadsheets, and reports for leadership visibility
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of administrative or accounting experience (construction experience preferred)
- Experience with QuickBooks and Buildertrend (or similar construction software)
- Understanding of AP/AR and payroll processes
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Strong communication skills and ability to handle multiple priorities
- Tech-savvy and comfortable improving processes and systems
