Job Purpose

To maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and basic support services within the office or project site. The role ensures workspaces, common areas, and washrooms are clean, well-stocked, and welcoming, contributing to a safe and productive environment for all employees and visitors.

Your Role

As an Office assistant, you will:

• Making sure water glasses are placed in all offices
• Arriving earlier than everyone else in the office to ensure everything is set up and ready to go.
• Replacing tissue boxes in all offices and meeting rooms as needed.
• Serving refreshments to all managers and guests.
• Cleaning the meeting rooms before and after all meetings to maintain a tidy environment.
• Replacing water gallons to ensure everyone has water at all times.
• Keeping track of pantry items and stationery and requesting replenishments as necessary.
• Handling any miscellaneous tasks for the managers that may arise.
• Manning the reception desk for an hour when the receptionist is on lunch break or using the washroom.
• Taking care of his own workspace, keeping it clean and tidy at all times, including maintaining coffee machines, microwaves, fridges, etc.
• Performing any other tasks that come up on a daily basis.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualifications, Experience & Competencies
• High School Certificate in appropriate discipline or equivalent demonstrated experience and/or 2. 2+ years experience
• Advanced understanding of hygiene & cleaning procedures.
• Ability to work independently & take initiative
• Reliable, punctual & professional
• Physically fit & capable of handling manual tasks
• Respectful, courteous, & discreet in a professional setting.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
