Office Assistant--PART TIME

S&G Truck Repair is a family-owned and operated heavy-duty truck repair business looking for a part time office assistant. Small office environment working directly with the managers and staff.

Work Schedule:

  • Part Time: 20-25hrs per week; between 8am-5pm Monday-Friday

Skills and requirements:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of administrative experience; trucking / transportation / service / repair office experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and be a team player in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail orientated with strong time management and follow-through skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically Excel, Word, Access.
  • Valid Driver license.
  • Ability to lift 30lbs.

Tasks

  • Processing incoming payments, bill-pay and invoicing.
  • Handling incoming calls and other communications.
  • Managing filing system.
  • Greeting clients and visitors as needed.
  • Updating paperwork, maintaining documents.
  • Helping organize and maintain office common areas.
  • Light cleaning.
  • Performing general office clerk duties and errands.
  • Creating, maintaining, and entering information into database.
  • Ordering, organizing, and stocking parts.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
