S&G Truck Repair is a family-owned and operated heavy-duty truck repair business looking for a part time office assistant. Small office environment working directly with the managers and staff.
Work Schedule:
- Part Time: 20-25hrs per week; between 8am-5pm Monday-Friday
Skills and requirements:
- A minimum of 1-2 years of administrative experience; trucking / transportation / service / repair office experience preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and be a team player in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail orientated with strong time management and follow-through skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically Excel, Word, Access.
- Valid Driver license.
- Ability to lift 30lbs.
Tasks
- Processing incoming payments, bill-pay and invoicing.
- Handling incoming calls and other communications.
- Managing filing system.
- Greeting clients and visitors as needed.
- Updating paperwork, maintaining documents.
- Helping organize and maintain office common areas.
- Light cleaning.
- Performing general office clerk duties and errands.
- Creating, maintaining, and entering information into database.
- Ordering, organizing, and stocking parts.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
