Office Assistant/Receptionist

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Office Assistant/Receptionist to join our team! This vital role ensures the smooth operation of daily office activities, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. As the first point of contact, you will create a welcoming environment for visitors and clients while managing essential office functions with efficiency and professionalism. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help foster a productive and positive workplace atmosphere.

Duties

  • Greet visitors, clients, and vendors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression
  • Manage phone and email systems with professionalism, answering inquiries promptly and directing calls appropriately
  • Handle front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, maintaining calendars, and organizing meetings
  • Perform data entry, filing, and document proofreading to ensure accuracy and organization
  • Utilize computer skills across Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other office management software to support daily operations
  • Support bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing, billing, and basic record-keeping
  • Assist with administrative tasks including photocopying, faxing, mailing, and maintaining office supplies (Samples, pamphlets, etc.)
  • Assist with keeping office tidy and neat
  • Manage social media accounts and posting regularity

Qualifications

  • Proven scheduling or administrative experience with strong organizational skills
  • Excellent customer service skills coupled with professional phone etiquette
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace applications
  • Strong typing skills along with attention to detail for proofreading documents
  • Ability to manage time efficiently
  • Previous experience as a receptionist/scheduler or personal assistant is advantageous

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
