Job Title: Office Boy / Office Assistant
Job Type: Part-Time (4 days in-office)
Reports To: Office Manager / Administrative Supervisor
Schedule: 4 days per week (e.g., Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday) – 8 hours per day

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable, energetic, and detail-oriented Office Boy to support daily office operations. This role is essential for maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workplace. The position requires physical presence in the office for 4 days per week, ( could include weekends depending on the customer flow and requirement). This is a temporary position for 3 months to start with. Permanent employment will be considered based on the job performance.

Key Responsibilities

Office Maintenance & Cleanliness

  • Dust office floors, desks, and common areas.
  • Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly.
  • Ensure meeting rooms are tidy and set up before use.

Pantry & Refreshments

  • Prepare and serve tea, coffee, water, and refreshments to staff and guests.
  • Replenish pantry supplies (milk, sugar, cups, napkins, etc.).
  • Clean and maintain microwave, kettles, and pantry equipment.

Errands & Logistics

  • Assist in photocopying, scanning, filing, and binding documents.
  • Assist in keeping electronic devices, e.g. laptops, tabs, other gadgets fully charged and in working condition

Guest & Staff Support

  • Greet and assist visitors, ensuring they are directed to the correct person.
  • Help staff with light administrative tasks (e.g., moving files, arranging desks).
  • Monitor and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.

Inventory & Stock

  • Track and notify supervisor when office supplies (stationery, water bottles, cleaning materials) run low.
  • Organize storage closets and supply cabinets.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 0–2 years in a similar office support role (freshers are welcome to apply).
  • Physical Ability: Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 10–15 kg.
  • Communication: Basic understanding of English -enough to follow instructions.
  • Computer literacy: Basic computer literacy and typing skills.
  • Reliability: Punctual, honest, and able to work independently.
  • Availability: Must be able to commit to 4 full working days per week in the office (specific days to be agreed upon).
  • Start date : Preferably immediate
  • Visa status : Should have own visa and eligible to work in UAE

Work Schedule Detail

  • In-office days: 4 days per week
  • Working hours: [e.g., 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM] with a 30-minute lunch break.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: Competitive, based on experience and number of days in office in a month
  • Leave: Proportional annual leave and sick leave.
  • Other: Pantry meals/snacks provided on work days, travel reimbursement for errands.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: AED75.00 - AED100.00 per day

Expected hours: 30 per week
