Key Responsibilities

  • Review project drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Prepare and submit shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, IRs, NOWs, and DM submittals.
  • Maintain project documentation, transmittals, and approval logs.
  • Monitor emails and follow up on approvals, replies, and pending submissions.
  • Coordinate with site teams, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Prepare weekly project progress reports.
  • Review BOQs and prepare quantity take-offs for concrete, steel, formwork, excavation, and civil works.
  • Assist in BOQs, variations, and material quantity calculations.
  • Prepare subcontractor contracts and process payments based on site work progress percentages.
  • Prepare LPOs, obtain approvals, issue to suppliers, and follow up on material deliveries.
  • Follow up and close NCRs and SORs from consultants.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications and Dubai Municipality (DM) requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 4–5 years of experience as a Civil Office Engineer in Dubai.
  • Strong knowledge of civil works, quantity surveying, BOQs, and project documentation.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of Dubai Municipality (DM) regulations and submissions.
  • Experience with shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, IRs, NOWs, DM submissions, NCRs, and SORs.
  • Good coordination, communication, and follow-up skills.
