Office Manager

Summary

Food52 is seeking an Office Manager who will oversee daily administrative functions and business logistics to ensure efficiency, productivity, and maintain a functional work environment.


Responsibilities & Duties

  • Administrative Management: Oversee daily operations, including front-office duties, scheduling, record-keeping, and facility maintenance.
  • Process Efficiency: Optimize office procedures to increase productivity, reduce waste, and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Resource & Supply Control: Manage inventory, procurement of office supplies, and equipment maintenance.
  • HR & Staff Support: Assist with onboarding, training, and administrative tasks.
  • Communication Hub: Act as the primary liaison between staff, management, and external vendors.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience as an Office Manager or a similar role.
  • Exceptional ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and handle multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in office software (MS Office, Google Workspace)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field or an equivalent amount of career experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of vendor management and procurement.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and compliance regulations.


Schedule

Hybrid schedule of 3-4 days per week in our office in the Brooklyn Navy Yard, but subject to change on a week to week basis depending on the needs of the business.


Salary Range

$60,000 - 70,000

The range provided is based on what we reasonably expect to pay for this job as of the time of posting. The actual salary offered will be determined based on multiple factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, job-related knowledge, skills, geographical location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
