Hours: M-F, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Compensation: $20-$25/hr

Location: Tempe, AZ

Fast moving opportunity with a stable and growing company in the construction industry is seeking an organized individual with strong multitasking and communication skills to join their team. The position of Receptionist / Office Coordinator will provide administrative, onboarding, and operational support across multiple project locations. Responsibilities will vary and may include office coordination, employee onboarding, payroll support, event coordination, and assisting additional departments as needed.


Job Requirements:

Year(s) of Experience: Minimum 2 years of previous administrative support or office coordination experience

Industry: Construction background preferred but not required

Education: High School Diploma required

Software: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with basic Excel formula knowledge required

Additional: Experience with payroll, purchasing, AP, or supporting multi-state/union workforces is a plus. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required.


Responsibilities

Support employee onboarding and HR administration across multiple locations.

Manage front desk responsibilities including receiving packages, office supplies, snacks, and e-filing.

Provide light payroll support and assist with related documentation and data entry.

Coordinate office lunches, events, and team activities.

Assist with additional departments such as AP or purchasing as needed.

Occasionally travel to local project sites within the Phoenix area (mileage reimbursed).

Communicate with employees, managers, vendors, and field teams to support office operations.

Other administrative duties as assigned.
