If you answered yes, we would love to hear from you! Backyard Pet Services is a mobile, multi-service pet care company serving McKinney and surrounding areas. We provide pet sitting, mobile grooming, dog walking, scooper services, and dog training to our clients and their pets.
We are currently looking for a Part-Time Office Manager Assistant with the opportunity for the position and responsibilities to expand into a Full-Time role after training as the company continues to grow. This role will begin in-person for training and team collaboration, with the potential for remote work flexibility after training and as responsibilities expand.
Responsibilities Include:
- Scheduling clients in our Time To Pet software for grooming, sitting, and training services.
- Communicating with clients regarding appointments, invoices, and service updates in our CRM system.
- Helping maintain full schedules for groomers, trainers, and sitters.
- Communicating with team members to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Assisting the Office Manager and Owner with administrative tasks as needed.
- Supporting daily office operations and helping the business continue to grow.
- Taking on additional responsibilities and leadership support as the position expands.

Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to self-manage and stay detail-oriented.
- Basic knowledge of office equipment and computer systems.
- Reliable transportation required.
- Willingness to help in the field when needed is a plus (sitting & walking).
- Experience around animals is a plus.
- Administrative or office experience preferred.
Schedule:
- Tuesday to Saturday
- Between 8:00am - 5:00pm
- 1 hour lunch break
- Training hours will vary Monday - Friday
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience:
- Administrative experience: 1 year preferred

- Hybrid position
- Initial training completed in person, with potential for remote work after training and as the role expands.
