Full job description
The Group Home Office Manager is responsible for overseeing daily administrative operations within a residential group home setting. This role ensures efficient office management, regulatory compliance, accurate recordkeeping, and coordination between staff, residents, families, and external agencies. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in healthcare or human services administration.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily office operations, including scheduling, filing, and correspondence
- Maintain accurate and confidential resident records in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Coordinate staff schedules, track attendance, and assist with payroll documentation
- Serve as a liaison between management, staff, residents, families, and external providers
- Ensure compliance with licensing requirements, audits, and internal policies
- Prepare reports, incident documentation, and administrative summaries
- Monitor office supplies and manage inventory and ordering
- Support onboarding and training documentation for new hires
- Assist with billing, invoicing, and financial recordkeeping as needed
- Handle phone calls, emails, and inquiries in a professional and timely manner
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field)
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative or office management experience (experience in group homes, healthcare, or human services preferred)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and electronic record systems
- Knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
