THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking an organized, proactive Office Manager & HR Coordinator who keeps our workplace running smoothly and ensures a positive employee experience. This role combines essential HR administration with daily office operations — the right person will be friendly, resourceful, and excited to support both people and processes.

You will handle payroll, recruiting support, onboarding logistics, employee files, and assist supervisors with basic employee relations needs — while also managing office supplies, breakroom organization, and engagement activities that bring our culture to life.

This is a great role for someone who enjoys helping others, staying on top of details, and being the go-to person for getting things done.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

HR & People Support

  • Process payroll accurately and on time
  • Coordinate recruiting logistics: job postings, applicant communication, interviews
  • Lead onboarding & new-hire paperwork
  • Maintain employee files and HR documentation
  • Support benefit enrollments and employee questions
  • Assist supervisors with attendance tracking and basic counseling documentation
  • Ensure legal compliance in HR paperwork and procedures
  • Administer employee recognition and engagement programs

Office Management & Culture

  • Manage office supply inventory and purchasing
  • Keep breakrooms clean, stocked, and well organized
  • Coordinate employee events, celebrations, and culture-building activities
  • Serve as first point of contact for general office needs and facility requests
  • Provide administrative support to leadership as needed
  • Maintain a welcoming and professional front-office environment

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS NEEDED

  • 2+ years in an administrative, payroll, or HR support role
  • Strong detail orientation; reliable follow-through
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally
  • Tech-savvy: comfortable learning new systems (UKG experience a plus)
  • Friendly, team-oriented attitude — enjoys helping others
  • Bilingual preferred

WITHIN ONE MONTH YOU'LL

  • Office supplies & breakroom basics running smoothly
  • Payroll processed accurately with proper documentation
  • Positive relationships built with employees and supervisors

WITHIN THREE MONTHS YOU'LL

  • Be proficient at the recurring, administrative activities that HR oversees.
  • Take ownership of the talent acquisition and onboarding process.
  • Ensure the company complies with all labor laws, policies and regulations.
  • Support performance management processes, including goal-setting discussions and reviews.

WITHIN SIX MONTHS YOU'LL

  • You fully own onboarding and payroll cycles
  • Recruiting logistics are efficient and well organized
  • Office and morale-boosting activities show measurable improvement

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
