Office Operations Manager ⭐medical office exp required⭐

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented operational leader to join our busy North Adams medical practice in the key role of Office Operations Manager. This role supervises our administrative staff and oversees operational functions; ensures efficient revenue cycle operations, patient services, and streamlined workflows while supporting a high-quality patient experience. The ideal candidate brings excellent communication and organizational skills, along with a process improvement mindset.

Key Responsibilities of the Office Operations Manager

Revenue Cycle and Finance Support

  • Oversee billing operations for efficiency and compliance
  • Monitor A/R, claims, and payments with billing lead
  • Partner with internal teams and external billing resources
  • Track metrics and improve financial performance
  • Assist with budgeting, expenses, payroll coordination, and reporting

Front Office & Patient Services

  • Manage scheduling, registration, phones, and patient flow
  • Ensure a positive patient experience
  • Resolve patient concerns as needed

Supervision and Leadership

  • Member of collaborative management team
  • Supervise billing and front office staff
  • Serve as liaison to physician leadership
  • Support operational planning and improvements

Operations & Administration

  • Oversee daily administrative functions
  • Coordinate credentialing and compliance tasks
  • Partner with outsourced HR and accounting
  • Manage vendors and office supplies
  • Coordinate facility needs

Technology

  • Liaison with IT vendors
  • Support EMR, billing, and communication systems

Qualifications

  • Education & Experience: 8+ years in medical practice leadership role, OR 5 years’ experience with a Bachelor’s degree
  • Skills: Revenue cycle oversight (no coding required), Team leadership experience, EPIC or similar EMR experience, Knowledge of healthcare compliance, Microsoft Office proficiency. excellent communication and organizational skills

Pay: $60,000.00 - $73,000.00 per year
