About the Role
Are you passionate about architecting long term maintenance strategies that keep a world class fleet flying safely and efficiently? You will own the scheduling of fleet maintenance to maximise fleet utilisation and availability, ensuring Riyadh Air operates as a safe, compliant, sustainable, and operationally world class airline.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain long term maintenance plans aligned with the strategic fleet plan, managing everything from aircraft induction and phase out to heavy maintenance checks and major component replacements.
- Coordinate with Maintenance Planning teams and MRO providers to secure capacity for scheduled base maintenance events, ensuring precise aircraft downtime allocation and optimised availability.
- Analyse fleet utilisation trends, conduct "what if" scenarios for operational disruptions, and identify life limited parts and major component requirements.
- Collaborate with Finance to forecast long term capital expenditure.
- Monitor key fleet maintenance KPIs, provide senior management with strategic recommendations, and work closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure maintenance activities are fully resourced and operationally feasible.
Qualifications
- Degree qualified or equivalent, with 5+ years of progressive experience in aviation strategic maintenance planning, ideally with hands on experience in aircraft maintenance planning, modifications, upgrade programmes, and project management.
- Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities.
- Proven experience working alongside maintenance teams, MRO providers, and regulatory bodies.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and attention to detail that ensures compliance with the highest industry standards.
- Additional preference for experience with AMOS software, an AME/A&P License, or engineering qualifications in Aviation or a related field.
