Job Responsibilities

  • Supervise and ensure efficient daily operations of cold storage including receiving, storing, and dispatching of temperature-sensitive products.
  • Monitor temperature readings at defined intervals and ensure adherence to required ranges for frozen and chilled products.
  • Address and report temperature deviations, equipment issues, or storage concerns promptly to avoid product loss.
  • Plan and execute product stacking and segregation as per storage capacity and product requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock movements through system entries and physical verification.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock reconciliations, ensuring alignment with ERP or manual records.
  • Implement and monitor FIFO/FEFO principles for all stored materials.
  • Prepare and share daily inventory and variance reports with management.
  • Liaise with Production, Quality Assurance, Dispatch, and Procurement teams to align storage and dispatch schedules.
  • Ensure timely release of finished goods to dispatch as per demand and order schedules.
  • Coordinate with logistics and supply chain for inbound/outbound cold chain requirements.
  • Monitor performance of refrigeration and temperature monitoring systems; coordinate with maintenance for preventive and corrective actions.
  • Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety of the cold storage facility in line with food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Support facility readiness for internal and external audits.
  • Ensure adherence to HACCP, ISO, and internal QA standards.
  • Maintain temperature logs, cleaning schedules, equipment maintenance records, and deviation reports.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by management to support the department’s objectives and overall business goals.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum Bachelors.
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in inventory or store management, ideally in a food production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of stock management processes, documentation, and inventory control.
  • Competent in MS Excel; experience with ERP or inventory management software is an advantage.
  • Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping and reporting abilities.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs45,000.00 - Rs50,000.00 per month
