About the Role:
The Officer – Painting System – Trainer & Technical Assistance at Site is responsible for providing expert guidance, training, and technical support across various painting projects at site. This role ensures quality standards, safety compliance, and effective coordination with teams and clients to deliver high-quality finishes and resolve technical challenges with continuous training support.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Coordinate with contractors and colleagues to resolve issues and maintain workflow on complaints.
- Ensure timely reporting and documentation of site activities.
- Provide technical guidance and supervision across all retail and activation sites.
- Review and validate technical drawings and specifications before execution.
- Ensure proper implementation of technical standards and procedures.
- Collaborate with project teams to resolve technical challenges efficiently.
- Execute site mockup samples and A4 panel samples with excellent finish as per sales team requests.
- Organize and conduct training sessions for applicators and site teams.
- Demonstrate correct techniques and safety practices for paint application.
- Provide guidance and feedback during live projects and evaluate training effectiveness.
- Follow up on customer paint complaints with customers, sales team, and Head Office to ensure clear resolution.
- Perform required tests including DFT, pull-off test, moisture testing, and sample panel preparation using calibrated equipment.
- Document and report test results accurately for quality assurance and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree/ Preferred Diploma in Paint Technology / background in Chemistry
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in painting systems, site supervision, or technical training.
- Strong knowledge of painting materials, application techniques, and safety standards.
- Experience in conducting training and technical evaluations.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and using testing equipment.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple site activities.
