Job Summary

ISHTAR Yacht & Boat Rental is hiring 2 Offshore Captains and 2 Assistant Captains to operate and support commercial vessels in offshore waters, including ADNOC projects.
The ideal candidates must hold valid UAE maritime licenses, STCW certification, and Seaman ID, with proven offshore experience.

Key Responsibilities – Captains

• Safely operate and navigate vessels in offshore conditions (up to 24m).
• Ensure full compliance with UAE maritime and offshore regulations.
• Conduct regular safety checks and ensure readiness of all safety equipment.
• Supervise crew and oversee all offshore trips and charters.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel usage, and inspections.

Key Responsibilities – Assistant Captains / Deckhands

• Assist the Captain in vessel operations and offshore trips.
• Handle mooring, anchoring, and deck operations.
• Support safety drills, maintenance tasks, and inspections.
• Ensure compliance with company and ADNOC safety standards.

Requirements – Captains

• Valid UAE Captain’s License (minimum 24m, FTA or DMCA).
• Valid STCW certification.
• Valid Seaman ID / Seaman Book.
• Minimum 2 years of offshore marine experience (preferably with ADNOC projects).
• Strong English communication skills.
• Ability to work extended hours at sea.
• H2S & T-BOSIET certifications (preferred).
• ENG1 / Medical Fitness certificate (preferred).

Requirements – Assistant Captains

• Mandatory: STCW certification + Seaman ID.
• Offshore / commercial vessel experience (minimum 1 year).
• Knowledge of basic navigation, safety drills, and mooring operations.
• Experience working on commercial boats / ADNOC projects preferred.
• English communication skills.
