the Job Description:

  • We are seeking a full-time or part-time oil and gas title attorney, to work either in the office in Spring, TX or remotely.

Responsibilities:

  • Review real estate title documents and oil and gas related contracts, and identify and analyze issues in the chain of title
  • Calculate ownership of surface, mineral, royalty, overriding royalty, and working interest, and draft title opinions
  • Draft title documents and other oil and gas related contracts

Requirements:

  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to write clearly and succinctly
  • Currently licensed attorney in good standing in the State of Texas, New Mexico, or Louisiana
  • Some experience drafting title opinions preferred, but not necessarily required

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Compensation is commensurate with the candidate’s experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $87,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
