OMS Specialist

Our focus customers in the short term will be Saudi Aramco and its Affiliates. In the long term, all the industrial sectors within Saudi Arabia aim to reach the MENA region.


Objective:


The purpose of the Transformation Advisor role is:

  • To support the implementation of the Operations Management System First Choice (OMS FC) on the sites of a Country and coach the Country Senior Leadership Team and the Site Leadership Teams (from First Line Leaders to the Site Leader level)
  • To support and coach the OMS FC Champions on the sites during and after reaching the Sustain Phase of implementation.
  • Support the implementation of Smart Resource Management Digital Suite (Smart-ReM) and the OMS FC related Smart Operations Applications, including change management.
  • Once OMS FC is established on the site focus on its sustainability through continuous coaching of the OMS FC Champion and the Site Leadership Team.
  • The role holder also plays a key role in best practice sharing across the regional community; and is responsible for maintaining the understanding of OMS FC through delivering Certified OMS FC Trainings.
  • Responsible for the program management of each implementation and its corresponding reports toward the Country
  • Ensures that the overall OMS FC infrastructure is maintained and coaches' management during times of change in sustaining these standards
  • Ensures that the Smart-ReM elements will become fully established in daily operations in line with all OMS FC Principles.
  • Coaching the Site Management Teams and OMS FC Champions in how to use Smart-ReM, and Smart Operations support sustaining the right routines and the use of the standard applications in the operations under the role holders' responsibility


General Responsibilities:


  • Supports the OMS FC implementations in a Country. Works with and coaches the Senior Operations Leadership Teams during the implementation of OMS FC and the build of its infrastructure.
  • Supports the OMS FC Champions during the implementation of OMS FC and after reaching the Sustain Phase.
  • Support the Site Leadership Teams in establishing "Organisation that Delivers"
  • Support the Site Leadership Teams, OMS FC Champion and OMS FC Engineer in establishing "Performance Management"
  • Support the Site Leadership Teams in establishing "Job Standardization"
  • Support the Site Leadership Teams in establishing "Continuous Improvement"
  • Support the Site Leadership Teams and Senior Management Team in MAINTAINING AND SUSTAINING THE OMS FC CULTURE
  • Support the Site Leadership Teams, OMS FC Champion and OMS FC Engineer during the implementation of SmartReM and OMS FC related Smart Operations Applications
  • Coach Site Leadership Teams and OMS FC Champions in sustaining the Smart-ReM Suite and the OMS FC related Smart Operations Applications
  • Recommend training and development interventions for team members to build their capabilities.
  • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for the continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices to increase productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Implement all relevant Department’s policies, processes, procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
  • Contribute to the preparation of timely and accurate reports to meet departmental requirements, policies and standards.



Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or equivalent from a recognized and accredited university is required master’s degree in engineering, or equivalent from a recognized and accredited university is preferred.
  • English, Arabic – Fluent
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in logistics and supply chain.
  • Proven stakeholder management track record through OMS FC Implementations
  • Project Management experience is highly desirable
  • Ability to influence without formal authority is essential
  • Ability to collaborate with operations leaders across all levels within the operation is essential
  • Affinity with Data Analysis tools and methodologies
  • Presentation skills on good level, allowing the role holder of sharing best practices with wider communities on face-to-face or on-line environments.
