Risk Co-ordinator - O&G - Contractor

The Role
International contractor seek a Risk Management Coordinator to support the successful execution of major oil and gas construction projects. The role will focus on implementing project risk management processes, maintaining risk registers, and supporting project teams in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating risks to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery. Implement and maintain the project risk management program (aligned with ISO 31000/PMI). • Develop and update the Risk Register, Risk Management Plan, KPIs, and KRIs. • Facilitate risk identification, qualitative/quantitative risk assessments, and schedule risk analysis. • Support integration of risk management with cost control, forecasting, claims, and change management. • Prepare risk reports, dashboards, and executive presentations. • Facilitate workshops, deliver training, and promote a risk-aware culture. • Provide guidance, mentoring, and support to project team members. • Contribute to project audits and support corporate initiatives for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field. • Proven risk management experience in construction/EPC/EPCM projects. • Experience on oil and gas construction projects • Proficiency in risk management tools/software (ARM, RISK, Primavera Risk Analysis, Acumen Risk). • Excellent communication and presentation skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability. • Track record in successful project risk management.
