On-Call OpenSolar Designer (Pay-Per-Design)

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced OpenSolar Designer to join our team on a flexible, project-by-project basis. As an On-Call OpenSolar Designer, you will be responsible for creating accurate and efficient solar system designs using the OpenSolar platform. This is a remote, contract position with no set hours; you will be compensated for each completed design, offering you the flexibility to work whenever you are available. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of solar energy systems and proficiency in OpenSolar.

Responsibilities

Create residential and commercial solar PV system designs using OpenSolar software.

Ensure designs are compliant with all relevant codes and standards.

Generate sales proposals and technical documents from OpenSolar.

Collaborate with our sales and engineering teams to meet project requirements.

Respond to design requests in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Proven experience in creating solar designs with OpenSolar.

Strong knowledge of solar PV system components and design principles.

Familiarity with electrical and structural codes related to solar installations.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively.

Strong communication skills.

Compensation

This is a pay-per-design position. Compensation will be discussed and agreed upon per project.
