Onboarding Specialist

Role Objective:

As an Onboarding Specialist at THKEL (ثقيل) , you will be responsible for building and managing the supply side of our marketplace. Your primary focus is to identify, vet, and onboard high-quality 3PL providers and individual operators specializing in General Transport (Tippers, Flatbeds, and General Freight) across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. You will ensure that every provider on the platform is compliant, well-trained, and ready to fulfill customer requests efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provider Acquisition & Growth:

  • Identify and scout professional 3PL companies and fleet owners (Flatbeds, Tippers, and Heavy Goods Vehicles) across all major KSA cities.
  • Negotiate and convince high-tier providers to join the THKEL marketplace by demonstrating the value of increased fleet utilization.
  • Ensure a healthy balance of supply (available trucks) to meet and exceed customer demand in every region.

2. Compliance & Verification:

  • Conduct rigorous background checks on providers to ensure they hold valid Transport General Authority (TGA) licenses and necessary operation permits.
  • Verify vehicle documentation and ensure all trucks meet the platform’s safety and quality standards before activation.
  • Maintain an up-to-date database of provider credentials to ensure ongoing legal compliance.

3. Training & Fulfillment Readiness:

  • Conduct training sessions (remote or in-person) for dispatchers and drivers on how to use the THKEL App to receive and manage orders.
  • Educate providers on the platform’s workflow to ensure they are ready to fulfill customer requests with high professionalism.
  • Ensure drivers understand the operational requirements for successful pickups and deliveries to maintain high fulfillment rates.

4. Relationship & Performance Management:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for providers, resolving their operational pain points and handling escalations.
  • Monitor provider performance (acceptance rates, cancellation rates, and customer ratings) to ensure service quality.
  • Implement "Feedback Loops" to gather provider insights and continuously improve the onboarding and fulfillment process.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Language Skills: Bilingual fluency in Arabic and English (Written and Spoken) is a mandatory requirement. The candidate must be able to draft professional communications in both languages and interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience: 2–5 years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Operations within Saudi Arabia. Experience in General Transport or 3PL operations is highly preferred.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of Saudi Transport General Authority (TGA) regulations for land transport.
  • Communication Skills: Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills to build long-term partnerships with transport providers.
  • Technical Literacy: Proficiency in using Marketplace Dashboards, CRM tools, and mobile applications.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
