Summary of Responsibilities:

The Online Key Account Manager is responsible for leading strategic growth initiatives, digital execution, and overall business performance for online retail accounts—primarily focused on Lowe’s.com and other key eCommerce partners. This role will drive sustainable, profitable growth through data-driven decision-making, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic account leadership.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and business acumen, with proven experience navigating complex digital ecosystems and influencing cross-functional teams. They will serve as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and the customer, ensuring alignment across product development, marketing, supply chain, and operations to deliver a best-in-class online experience.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Account Growth

  • Develop and execute comprehensive account strategies that drive revenue, margin expansion, and long-term online channel growth.
  • Partner with customer leadership to identify growth opportunities and shape joint business plans.
  • Manage P&L responsibility for assigned online accounts, optimizing sales, inventory, and profitability.
  • Serve as a digital thought leader—driving best practices in online merchandising, content strategy, and digital shelf optimization.

Sales, Analytics & Insights

  • Analyze POS, digital traffic, conversion, and promotional performance to identify trends and actionable insights.
  • Leverage data analytics tools to evaluate performance, refine tactics, and inform future strategies.
  • Create and deliver regular sales, margin, and KPI performance reports with strategic commentary and recommendations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with global business, brand, and eCommerce marketing teams to develop and execute promotional and product strategies that align with both customer and company goals.
  • Collaborate with product development and supply chain teams to ensure new product launches, pricing, and availability meet online customer requirements.
  • Work closely with brand management and product management teams to support a robust digital product roadmap and channel strategy.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for online retail accounts, building strong partnerships at all levels of the customer organization.
  • Negotiate and execute joint business plans, promotional programs, and digital marketing initiatives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and advocate for both the customer and internal business units.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 5–10 years of experience in eCommerce or retail account management, ideally within big-box or omnichannel environments.
  • Strong understanding of online merchandising, digital marketing, and eCommerce operations.
  • Proven track record of delivering growth and profitability through strategic account management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in sales forecasting, financial management, and performance reporting.
  • Experience with the tools, hardware, or outdoor power equipment industry preferred.
  • Position located in Mooresville, NC.

Travel:

This position requires up to 25% travel; some weekend events; some international.

Work Environment:
Expected to work in diverse office and professional environments, client locations and trade shows.
