The Legal Coordinator provides organizational and administrative support to the legal department. This role ensures smooth operation of legal processes, assists with compliance requirements, maintains records, and serves as a point of contact between internal teams, outside counsel, and regulatory agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document Management: Draft, review, and manage legal correspondence, contracts, and agreements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date files (physical and electronic).
  • Compliance Support: Assist in monitoring company policies and practices to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Case & Contract Tracking: Track deadlines, court filings, regulatory submissions, and contract renewals. Maintain calendars and reminders.
  • Research: Conduct basic legal and regulatory research as needed to support attorneys or compliance officers.
  • Communication & Coordination: Liaise with external counsel, government agencies, and internal departments.
  • Facilitate the flow of information and documents.
  • Administrative Support: Schedule meetings, prepare reports, process invoices, and support legal team projects.
  • Policy & Training Assistance: Help prepare legal presentations, compliance trainings, and policy updates.
  • Confidentiality: Safeguard sensitive and privileged information at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Studies, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Fluent in English Prior experience in a legal, compliance, or administrative role preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology, processes, and documentation.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and document management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team while maintaining strict confidentiality.
