- Provide online technical support to customers for CCTV systems, NVR/DVR devices, IP cameras, and related security equipment.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues remotely.
- Guide customers step-by-step on system setup, installation, configuration, and software usage.
- Assist with firmware updates, software upgrades, and integration with mobile or desktop applications.
- Resolve issues related to video streaming, storage, remote access, and alerts.
- Document technical issues, solutions, and customer interactions in the support database.
- Escalate complex technical problems to senior engineers when necessary.
- Educate customers on proper system maintenance, security best practices, and product features.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in CCTV, IP cameras, NVR/DVR systems, or security solutions.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts (LAN, WAN, port forwarding, IP addressing) and remote access setup.
- Familiarity with CCTV software, mobile apps, and remote viewing platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Comfortable using remote support tools, email, and chat to assist customers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in networking (e.g., CompTIA Network+) or CCTV systems.
- Experience in security system installation or field support.
