  • Provide online technical support to customers for CCTV systems, NVR/DVR devices, IP cameras, and related security equipment.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues remotely.
  • Guide customers step-by-step on system setup, installation, configuration, and software usage.
  • Assist with firmware updates, software upgrades, and integration with mobile or desktop applications.
  • Resolve issues related to video streaming, storage, remote access, and alerts.
  • Document technical issues, solutions, and customer interactions in the support database.
  • Escalate complex technical problems to senior engineers when necessary.
  • Educate customers on proper system maintenance, security best practices, and product features.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in CCTV, IP cameras, NVR/DVR systems, or security solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of networking concepts (LAN, WAN, port forwarding, IP addressing) and remote access setup.
  • Familiarity with CCTV software, mobile apps, and remote viewing platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using remote support tools, email, and chat to assist customers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in networking (e.g., CompTIA Network+) or CCTV systems.
  • Experience in security system installation or field support.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity basics for IoT and connected devices.
