OON Medical Billing A/R Follow Up Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Out-of-Network (OON) AR Follow-Up Specialist to manage a designated portfolio of accounts. Responsibilities include aggressive follow-up on outstanding OON claims, reprocessing denied claims, and resolving underpayments.

The ideal candidate will:

• Review and analyze EOBs for payment discrepancies
• Appeal underpaid or denied OON claims with proper documentation
• Follow up with insurance carriers via phone and web portals
• Track and document all actions taken on each claim in the billing system
• Work aging reports to ensure timely resolution of outstanding balances
• Meet productivity and quality benchmarks

Experience with commercial plans, UCR negotiations, and OON reimbursement is strongly preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
