Operation Supervisor - Fitness/Gym

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of facility and fitness operations. This includes supervising the staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality group fitness programs, and maintaining a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment. The role supports team development, manages teenage fitness programs, and collaborates with departments to achieve community wellness goals and operational excellence.

DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Supervise and mentor a multidisciplinary team of fitness trainers and front desk staff.
  • Conduct regular training and team meetings to maintain service excellence and alignment with fitness program standards.
  • Ensure the gym and studio spaces are clean, safe, and well-maintained always.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams for timely repairs and equipment servicing.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule to support operations during peak hours, evenings, and weekends.
  • Act as the main point of contact for member inquiries and feedback, especially for Arabic-speaking members.
  • Foster a friendly and inclusive atmosphere to encourage member satisfaction and retention.
  • Support community-building initiatives through events and fitness activities.
  • Lead the scheduling and coordination of all group fitness classes, ensuring optimal coverage, instructor availability, and program variety.
  • Ensure all studios are fully equipped, prepared, and meet safety and presentation standards prior to each session.
  • Oversee class execution and continuously evaluate program effectiveness and participant engagement.
  • Design and implement engaging fitness programs for kids and teenagers.
  • Ensure kids activities are age-appropriate, goal-oriented, and delivered by qualified instructors.
  • Oversee staffing logistics, including onboarding, scheduling, and HR-related matters.
  • Manage trainers’ performance and occupancy reports and prepare the necessary daily, weekly & monthly reports.
  • Track instructor attendance and maintain accurate records for part-time staff.
  • Coordinate facility-related invoices and purchase orders to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to support fitness programs and events.
  • Participate in community events and internal campaigns that enhance member engagement.
