Operation Theatre Technician

Key Responsibilities

1. OT Preparation & Maintenance

Prepare the OT before every procedure, ensuring cleanliness and aseptic conditions.

Sterilise instruments using autoclaves and maintain sterility protocols.

Arrange surgical instruments, disposables, and equipment as per procedure requirements.

Perform regular OT fumigation and deep cleaning as per protocol.

2. Assist During Procedures

Assist the doctor during oocyte pickup (OPU), embryo transfer (ET), and hysteroscopy.

Support the anesthetist with equipment and patient positioning.

Ensure seamless coordination between OT, IVF lab, and nursing team.

3. Equipment Handling

Check and calibrate equipment such as suction machines, OT lights, cautery, ultrasound machines (if applicable), and anesthesia equipment.

Report any malfunction and coordinate for timely maintenance.

4. Instrument & Consumable Management

Maintain stock of OT consumables, emergency drugs, and instruments.

Ensure proper documentation of usage and reorder when needed.

5. Documentation & Compliance

Maintain OT logs, sterilisation records, and instrument tracking sheets.

Ensure compliance with NABH standards and infection control protocols.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
