About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Operations Assistant to support and maintain accurate operational records. This role focuses on ensuring data accuracy, verifying operational activities, and maintaining proper documentation for installations, activations, and inventory.

The ideal candidate will act as a control layer within the operations team, helping minimize errors and ensuring operational accountability.

Key Responsibilities

1. Installation & Activation Verification

  • Review daily installation reports and job cards
  • Ensure vehicles are correctly activated on the platform
  • Verify device IMEI mapping and SIM assignments
  • Identify and report discrepancies

2. Database & Documentation Management

  • Maintain and update operational databases (vehicle records, IMEI, SIM, inventory)
  • Ensure data consistency across ERP and internal systems
  • Verify installation documents and certificates
  • Correct duplicate or incorrect entries

3. Customer Request Monitoring (SLA Control)

  • Track and escalate pending or overdue requests
  • Monitor response timelines and SLA compliance
  • Identify unattended or delayed cases

4. Inventory & Data Validation

  • Monitor device inventory and cross-check with ERP and warehouse records
  • Identify discrepancies in stock or allocations
  • Conduct routine data audits

5. Reporting & Operational Support

  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports (installations, activations, errors, pending tasks)
  • Assist in internal operational planning and task tracking
  • Ensure readiness for scheduled activities

Requirements

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, or related field

Experience:

  • 1–3 years in operations, back office, QA, or data management
  • Experience with databases/record management preferred
  • Telematics or GPS industry experience is a plus

Technical Skills

  • Strong command of Excel / Google Sheets (formulas, pivot tables, reports)
  • Data management and organization skills
  • Data verification and quality assurance
  • Reporting and documentation skills
  • Basic knowledge of GPS/telematics (preferred, not mandatory)
