Operations Coordinator

We’re growing and looking for an Operations Coordinator who takes pride in accuracy, efficiency, and teamwork. This is a career-track role for someone who thrives in a structured office setting and is eager to advance in operations and management.

Position Overview

The Operations Coordinator manages the logistics, communication, and back-office processes that make our programs run successfully. You’ll support instructor scheduling, onboarding, and supply management while ensuring data, deadlines, and documentation stay organized and precise.

This role is 95% office-based — focused on coordination and systems — with occasional classroom coverage (as needed) to support continuity of programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage instructor schedules, assignments, and classroom coverage.
  • Coordinate school facility rentals and ensure payments are processed on time.
  • Maintain accurate spreadsheets for instructor data, supply tracking, and program logistics.
  • Handle parent inquiries and enrollment questions with professionalism and clarity.
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, and compliance tracking for part-time instructors.
  • Support curriculum and supply delivery logistics to ensure classrooms are fully equipped.
  • Occasionally substitute teach classes within work hours to maintain program flow.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to continuously improve systems and workflows.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years administrative, operations, or coordination experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (filters, formulas, data organization).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word (typing 50+ WPM).
  • High attention to detail; comfortable managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license (school visits as needed).
  • Ability to pass background check.
  • Associate’s degree or higher required.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay: $20–$22/hour (DOE)
  • Benefits: Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, Employee discounts on enrichment programs, Mileage reimbursement for site visits
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:45 AM–5:15 PM (in-person only)
  • Growth Path: Coordinator → Operations Associate → Operations Manager

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
