Operations Coordinator

Haulistic is seeking an International and Expedite Operations Lead to join our Operations team. This individual is a key contributor to Haulistic’s international logistics operations, responsible for managing day-to-day coordination of shipments, including the transition of Abco US freight and broader Haulistic global activities. This role ensures service continuity, accurate data management, and exceptional customer service across multiple accounts. This individual will also support other Haulistic international shipments beyond Abco, assisting with ocean, air, and cross-border freight execution, and collaborating with internal teams to maintain operational efficiency.


Background & Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Prior experience in coordinating domestic and international shipments
  • Familiarity with the full lifecycle of freight from booking to delivery
  • Experience with quoting and carrier sourcing
  • Hands-on experience resolving transit issues like delays or customs holds
  • Experience with platforms such as SilverExpress (TMS) and Microsoft 365

Key Responsibilities:


Shipment Coordination and Customer Service

  • Coordinate quotes and shipments for Abco US customers and other Haulistic international accounts.
  • Assist with global freight execution, including ocean, air, and cross-border shipments.
  • Ensure accurate data entry and shipment tracking in Haulistic’s TMS, SilverExpress.
  • Provide proactive communication and issue resolution to maintain service quality.

Customs and Compliance

  • Manage clearance tasks with customs partners for all Haulistic shipments.
  • Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and Haulistic SOPs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain operational efficiency across diverse customer portfolios.
  • Participate in daily huddles and operations meetings to share updates and insights.
  • Provide feedback to improve internal processes and customer experience.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of domestic and international logistics processes
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to quickly assess and resolve shipment-related issues
  • Comfortable using logistics platforms and encouraging compliance with tech tools
  • Managing multiple shipments, tracking performance metrics, and maintaining documentation
  • Prioritizing service quality and on-time performance
