The Role

As Operations Coordinator (or CSR) within the Pinch Flatbed team, you will have the opportunity to be part of a top tier Logistics Company. Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

  • Responsible for phone and email communications from customers, booking shipments within our TMS software and providing rate quotes.
  • Administrative tasks and document handling related to order processing, dispatch, and fleet operations.
  • Communicate with customers or internal departments on shipment status.

Dispatch:

  • Manage a fleet of local drivers scheduling local pick-up and delivery of Flatbed freight.
  • Dispatch of these drivers through the transportation management software integrated with driver electronic log books.
  • Respond to driver requests on safety, maintenance, service, scheduling or other items. Coordinate with the relevant departments or management
  • Ensure that drivers comply with standard operating procedures and regulations.

Operations:

  • Oversee the yard and warehouse for safe and effective flow of freight in and out
  • Forklift - as needed assist with loading or unloading freight
  • CDL an asset and would positively affect base salary

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with 3 years full-time work experience; college degree preferred
  • Trucking Operations Software (TMS) experience preferred
  • Vast understanding of Flatbed trucking operations
  • Ability to deal with a sporadic, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent multitasking and prioritization skills
  • Strong work ethic, solid negotiation and conflict-management skills
  • Great typing skills

Ability to operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year

Experience:

  • Trucking/Transportation Industry: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Forklift operating: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Required)

  • Williston, ND 58801: Relocate before starting work (Required)
