Job Description

We are seeking a highly competent and detail-oriented Operations Executive to oversee branch banking operations and ensure smooth day-to-day operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in branch operations, regulatory compliance, process controls, and customer service standards within the banking sector. The role requires sound knowledge of SBP regulations, operational risk management, and the ability to maintain high service and compliance standards across branch operations.

Job Title: Operations Executive

Qualification: Minimum Graduate, preferably MBA / M.Com from an HEC-recognized university

Experience Required: Minimum 5 years of banking experience in branch banking operations with strong knowledge of SBP regulations

Salary: Up to 200k

Location: Karachi

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage day-to-day branch operations and ensure smooth execution of all operational activities.

· Supervise branch functions including cash operations, clearing, remittances, account opening, and customer service.

· Ensure compliance with SBP regulations, AML/KYC requirements, and internal bank SOPs.

· Monitor account opening documentation, customer due diligence, and regulatory compliance checks.

· Ensure timely processing of clearing, fund transfers, payment orders, and branch transactions.

· Maintain strong internal controls and ensure adherence to audit and compliance requirements.

· Identify operational gaps, control weaknesses, and implement corrective actions to mitigate risk.

· Ensure proper custody of security stationery, sensitive documents, and branch operational records.

· Handle customer service issues, operational queries, and ensure timely resolution of complaints.

· Ensure timely preparation and submission of branch MIS, regulatory reports, and operational records.

· Support branch management in improving service standards, operational efficiency, and process discipline.
