Operations & Executive Assistant

Operations & Executive Assistant (Part‑Time)
Brenham, TX (Hybrid – some in‑person required)
20–30 hrs/week

About the Role

We are a family‑owned group of businesses in Brenham, including landscaping, stone & landscape supply, an event venue, and real estate ventures. We are seeking a highly organized, proactive Operations & Executive Assistant who combines strong administrative skills with a good design eye and brand awareness.

This role supports multiple businesses and works best for someone who enjoys ownership, systems, managing many moving parts without needing constant direction.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Administration

  • Support day‑to‑day operations and internal organization
  • Maintain records and documentation
  • Coordinate supplies, IT, equipment, and phone plans
  • Support light reconciliation and invoicing workflows

Event Venue Support

  • Communicate with clients (inquiries, follow‑ups, reminders)
  • Assist with showings, bookings, and contracts
  • Support invoicing schedules and logistics

Marketing, Design & Brand (Important)

  • Create clean, on‑brand graphics in Canva
  • Edit and select photos for social media and websites
  • Organize jobsite and event photo libraries
  • Support social media posting and website updates
  • Maintain visual and brand consistency across platforms
  • Notice when something doesn’t look or sound right and take steps to improve it

(You don’t need to be a professional designer, but visual awareness and pride in presentation matter.)

Team & Project Support

  • Assist with project coordination and vendor communication
  • Support staff meetings, appreciation, and company events

What We’re Looking For

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Proactive and dependable; follows through without reminders
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities
  • Tech‑comfortable (Google Drive, email, Canva, social platforms, AI)
  • Strong visual awareness and ability to carry a brand voice
  • Trustworthy with confidential information

Bonus: Small business operations, bookkeeping, marketing, events, or real estate experience.
