Operations Manager

Connoisseur Media is seeking a forward-thinking Operations Manager to lead our Chicagoland cluster — a collection of locally resonant brands with deep roots, loyal audiences, and real momentum. You’ll guide cluster-wide programming strategy, be a presence on-air, and serve as the heartbeat of a culture built on Creativity, Community, and Connection .

What You’ll Do:

• Lead with Creativity – Drive programming for the Chicagoland cluster, bringing strategic ideas to life on-air, online, and on the ground. You’ll champion fresh thinking across content, imaging, and audience engagement.
• Show up for the Community – Ensure our brands are more than just heard — they’re felt. That means meaningful local storytelling, community involvement, and active participation in the lives of our listeners.
• Build deep Connection – Use your on-air presence and leadership to foster authentic relationships with the audience, advertisers, and your internal team. You’ll be the unifying voice across formats, departments, and platforms.
• Own the digital experience – Oversee the execution and alignment of station websites, social media channels, smart speaker integrations, apps, and overall digital delivery. Every touchpoint should reflect the brand and extend the listener experience.
• Mentor and elevate talent – Grow the people around you through coaching, feedback, and by setting a creative, collaborative tone.
• Collaborate with sales – Shape promotional and content strategies that deliver for clients without compromising the audience experience.
• Program with purpose – Leverage research, streaming data, social trends, and listener feedback to guide decisions that grow audience and impact.
• Be hands-on. Be heard. – You’ll be on the air and in the trenches — not just overseeing the brand, but living it.
  
  
  

What You Bring:

• Proven experience overseeing programming for a multi-station cluster.
• On-air experience and the ability to lead from behind the mic.
• Strong command of music scheduling, automation systems, imaging, and content production.
• A creative mindset paired with business savvy — you can ideate and execute.
