Parking NW Operations Manager

Parking NW is seeking an Operations Manager in Portland, Oregon. Parking NW is a local, organically grown commercial parking management company.

The Operations Manager oversees District-wide safe and efficient day-to-day staffing, schedules, and manages the parking operations.

Responsibilities

Planning, organizing, coordinating workflow and scheduling to maintain excellent levels of service to internal and external clients.

Participating in the recommendation and administration of operational policies, procedures, and processes.

Keeping accurate records related to staffing schedules, planning, accountability, and customer service.

Communicating effectively with subordinates and other team members.

Will be responsible correspondences pertaining to operations, hiring and recruitment, staffing and scheduling.

Clearly explain tasks and expectations to subordinates and ensuring desired result.

Use problem-solving skills to ensure that their team has the resources they need to complete their work.

Making decisions quickly and accurately.

Administering operations and staffing needs, including the need for advanced hiring, staffing changes and augmentations, change in protocols and procedures.

Tracking employee schedules, maintenance needs and enhancements, communicate effectively with subordinates and other team members.

Ensuring employees complete their work on time and in line with expectations and results set forth through effective leadership and coaching.

Reviewing daily labor for each location and assuming responsibility for properly educating staff members on payroll procedures.

Responsible for adhering to and enforcing established company policy and making sure assigned subordinates do likewise.

Understanding and using proper personnel management skills to resolve problems with employees.

Carrying out both positive recognition and disciplinary action as needed. Train and coach subordinates as needed.

Perform all other duties as assigned or requested in line with the overall operations.

Qualifications:

• Prior management experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Must have a reliable, fully insured vehicle. (Mileage is reimbursed at 70 cents per mile.)
• Demonstrate exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Working skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work in a high-energy environment, handle multiple tasks, and work within time constraints.

• Starting Pay Range: $73,000 - $85,000 / year
