Job Purpose:
The Operations Manager will oversee all aspects of production operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, quality, and cost effectiveness. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day production activities, leading teams, and driving continuous improvement to meet customer and organizational goals.

Lead and manage production operations, ensuring output meets established quality and delivery standards.

Develop and implement production schedules to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.

Monitor daily operations, identifying and resolving issues that could affect production or safety.

Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.

Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, maintenance, and quality teams to achieve business objectives.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives in productivity, safety, and process optimization.

Manage staffing levels, oversee training and development of operators, and support employee engagement.

Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production output, scrap, downtime, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).

Develop budgets and monitor expenses to ensure cost-effective production.

Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.

Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or related field (preferred).

5+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing/production operations.

Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Proven ability to lead teams and drive results in a fast-paced production environment.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Proficiency with production planning tools, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Requirements:
