About Xtronics Imaging Systems

Xtronics Imaging Systems is a legacy Indian manufacturer of medical X-ray and imaging equipment, with over four decades of expertise in high-frequency X-ray machines, OPG systems, and mammography solutions. As we modernize our product line and expand our national footprint, we’re looking for an Operations Manager who can streamline our manufacturing, supply chain, and service operations while driving efficiency and growth.

Role Overview

The Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day supply chain, production and service operations. The ideal candidate is both detail-driven and strategic — someone who can manage workflows, ensure compliance with medical device standards, and improve operational efficiency across departments.

You will work closely with the leadership team to align manufacturing, inventory, vendor, and quality processes with the company’s growth roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

  • Production Management:

Oversee planning, scheduling, and execution of manufacturing orders to meet delivery timelines and quality targets.

  • Inventory & Procurement:

Manage raw material and finished goods inventory; coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely availability of components.

  • Process Optimization:

Identify and implement improvements across manufacturing, assembly, testing, and dispatch operations to reduce costs and turnaround time.

  • Vendor & Logistics Coordination:

Manage logistics partners for shipping and installation of equipment across India; handle vendor negotiations and service contracts.

  • Documentation & Compliance:

Maintain ISO, BIS, and AERB documentation for production, calibration, and quality assurance as per medical device regulations.

  • Cross-Department Collaboration:

Work with sales, service, and R&D teams to ensure smooth order execution and product support.

  • Reporting:

Prepare weekly and monthly reports on production efficiency, cost tracking, and other operational processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or Operations (Master’s preferred)
  • 5–10 years of experience in operations, preferably in medical equipment, electronics, or industrial manufacturing
  • Strong understanding of supply chain, quality systems, and regulatory documentation
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multi-departmental coordination

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to lead in a trusted legacy brand
  • Exposure to the medical imaging equipment industry
  • Stable, growth-driven environment
