Operations Manager – Millwork Department

HW Jenkins Company is a well-established local building material supplier that is seeking an Operations Manager to manage the shipping, receiving, and production processes at our lumber and millwork location in Memphis, TN. If you’re organized, hands‑on, and eager to learn, this role is a strong fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations.
• Lead, train, and support the shipping team.
• Ensure shipment accuracy and proper documentation.
• Work with suppliers, drivers, and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate inventory and delivery records.
• Perform additional duties as needed.

Requirements

• 3+ years in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations (lumber/construction experience a plus).
• Strong leadership and problem‑solving skills.
• Knowledge of inventory systems and safety standards.
• Ability to lift and move materials.
• Basic Spanish is a plus.
