Operations Manager

· Coordinate with external vendors and contractors (catering, housekeeping, pest control, maintenance, transport) and ensure company SLA are met
· Monitor contracted services for quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness.
· Oversee inventory of supplies, equipment, furniture, and housekeeping provisions.
· Prepare regular reports on operational performance, costs, safety metrics, and incident logs
We are looking to recruit an experienced Operations Manager who has some knowledge of the overall management, coordination, and performance of one or more labor camp facilities.
This role holder will be responsible for the smooth running operations within the accommodation whilst prioritizing safety, and in compliance with local regulations and company standards.
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned operations professional with a proven track record of managing large teams effectively in demanding environments, ideally within labor camps, staff accommodation, facility management, or similar operations. They must demonstrate strong organizational skills, excellent leadership, and the ability to prioritize and drive multiple tasks to completion.
· Directs maintenance, welfare services, safety, logistics, and staff supervision to provide a safe, clean, and organized living environment for camp residents
· Oversee the daily camp operations, including accommodation, housekeeping, catering, utilities (water, electricity), waste management, and security
· Ensure all camp facilities are well-maintained, cleaning is to the required standards, functional facilities, and compliant with health and safety standards.
· Conduct regular inspections of living quarters, kitchens, recreational areas, and common facilities
· Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws, health & safety regulations, and company policies applicable to labor accommodation
· Implement and review emergency plans including fire safety drills, medical response procedures, and evacuation readiness.
· Maintain proper documentation of inspections, incidents, maintenance schedules, and corrective actions.
· The ideal candidate will lead, mentor, and manage camp staff including supervisors, maintenance, security, and support teams
· Monitor staff performance and provide coaching, training, and performance feedback.
Ensure proper staff coverage, duty rosters, and response readiness for emergencie

The ideal candidate will have the ability to lead, motivate, develop, and manage large teams,. Proven experience supervising diverse teams and driving accountability with consistency and fairness.

Will be Well-spoken, presentable, and confident in communication, with the ability to interface comfortably with internal teams, external stakeholders, authorities, and senior leadership. Must be confident in presenting information clearly, advising the management team, and articulating operational insights and recommendations.

This role reports directly to the CEO, requiring a high level of maturity, professionalism, and discretion. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong judgment, integrity, and the ability to represent the company effectively in high-pressure or sensitive situations.

Given the scope of this role, the successful candidate will be managing large teams who are working in a operational environment. Very strong organization and communication skills are are required as well as handling complex operational challenges, resource planning, and performance monitoring, strong leadership, professionalism, confidence with stakeholders, and the ability to advise and influence senior management are essential for success
