Operations Manager

About the Role

As we prepare to open our Houston manufacturing facility, Abnex, operating under Niedax MonoSystems is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead day-to-day production activities and support the successful launch and ongoing performance of the site.

This role is responsible for ensuring safe operations, high-quality output, and efficient production performance, while leading and developing production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead site operations to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and productivity standards
• Ensure employees receive required safety training and consistently work in a safe manner
• Organize and oversee production workflows to meet specifications, deadlines, and budget targets
• Supervise, coach, and evaluate production personnel performance
• Oversee production performance and resolve operational issues proactively
• Collaborate with other departments to align operational objectives
• Report operational results and key metrics to senior management
• Participate in hiring, performance management, and workforce planning activities

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

• Associate’s degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory or management role within a manufacturing or production environment
• Strong knowledge of production management principles
• Solid understanding of workplace safety regulations (OSHA)
• Proven leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills

Work Environment & Schedule

• Manufacturing and open-space office environment
• Moderate noise levels on the production floor
• Regular schedule of 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work additional hours as needed to meet production goals
• Occasional lifting up to 30 pounds
