Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Operations Manager who can take full control of our daily project operations.

The right candidate must have practical experience in tents, sheds, car parking shades, tensile shade structures, steel fabrication, PVC/HDPE fabric works, or a similar construction/fabrication field.

This role is not only an office job. We need someone who can manage the factory, site teams, materials, manpower, client requirements, and project deadlines properly. The candidate should be able to solve problems, control the team, and make sure every project is completed with good quality and on time.

Main Responsibilities

The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing the complete project operation from start to finish.

Responsibilities include:

Managing daily operations of all ongoing projects.

Coordinating between sales, design, procurement, fabrication, delivery, and installation teams.

Checking project drawings, site conditions, scope of work, and client requirements before execution.

Planning manpower, materials, tools, equipment, vehicles, and subcontractors as required.

Following up with factory work including steel fabrication, welding, painting, fabric cutting, PVC/HDPE preparation, and accessories.

Visiting sites regularly to check progress, quality, safety, and team performance.

Coordinating with clients, consultants, main contractors, site engineers, supervisors, and suppliers.

Making sure installation work is carried out as per approved drawings and company standards.

Handling site problems, delays, material shortages, manpower issues, and client complaints professionally.

Controlling project cost, material wastage, rework, and unnecessary delays.

Preparing and following up project schedules to complete work on time.

Ensuring proper documentation such as delivery notes, work completion reports, inspection requests, site photos, and handover documents.

Reporting project progress, issues, requirements, and risks to the management.

Required Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in operations, project management, or site execution.

Candidate must have experience in one or more of the following fields:

Tents and temporary structures

Car parking shades

Steel sheds

Tensile shade structures

PVC fabric works

HDPE shade net works

Pergolas and canopies

Steel fabrication and installation

Similar construction or fabrication industry

UAE experience will be preferred.

Experience in managing multiple sites and teams at the same time is required.

Required Skills

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Good knowledge of steel fabrication, welding, painting, fabric installation, and site execution.

Ability to read and understand drawings.

Good planning and coordination skills.

Strong problem-solving ability.

Good communication with clients, consultants, engineers, supervisors, and workers.

Ability to work under pressure and complete work within deadlines.

Practical knowledge of UAE site requirements and safety procedures will be an advantage.

Must be responsible, active, and able to take ownership of the full operation.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who is serious, practical, and responsible.

The candidate should not only report problems, but should also be able to find solutions. He should be able to control workers, supervisors, drivers, fabricators, welders, painters, and installation teams.

We need a person who can manage both factory and site operations and make sure projects are completed properly, safely, and on time.

Education

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.

Candidates with strong practical experience in this industry will also be considered.

Salary will be discussed based on experience and capability.
